For four years Albert Pantygirdle has been serving tea and coffee, "tasty" cakes and "freshly-made" sandwiches, fielding bizarre questions and biting his lip in the face of tremendous provocation behind the train buffet on the 0715 from Manchester to Brighton.
Albert does his best to concentrate on the subject in hand, but after too many late nights his announcements branch off for some strange diversions down long-abandoned branch lines. The Eurovision Song Contest provides a quality Europop soundtrack and he also receives support of a dubious nature equally from his BHS underpants and Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle.
