Poor old Wilma – she’s in a bit of a mess. It’s amazing to see the change a couple of glasses of wine has on her in the morning. She was shaking, sweating, a bit nauseous when she got here – 15 mins later she had brightened up completely. Not ideal but then who lives an “ideal” life?

Wendy’s ex is trying to isolate Wendy from me – as usual, by using their daughter. Because he rarely offers to look after his daughter when Wendy wants to go out, she often has to bring The Little Dictator with her. He knows damn well that all of us are frequently up to different types of refreshments, but he’s obviously had this bright idea to single me out in the hope of restricting the amount of time me and Wendy can spend together. I was pleased that The Little Dictator told him recently “I quite like looby.” Me and TLD get on fine, very well actually.

I’m absolutely delighted for Middle Daughter. She’s worked her arse for this for years and years. Bristol Old Vic, btw, is an absolute A-list English Drama School. It’s trained Jeremy Irons, Patrick Stewart and dozens of others of that calibre.

A “hint” is no matter when you’ve got the DTs.

So he doesn’t want the kid around drugs or he doesn’t want the kid around you? How old is this kid, anyway?

Very happy to hear about your daughter. You must be uber proud.

Thanks kono – it’s great how it’s worked out for her, and also, I hope now, it will work out for me – although what happens after 30th June is another unknown. If I’m very busy in Newcastle for a while, at least I’ll be forced to think about something else other than Wendy – although I know she’ll be in my thoughts morning noon and night, as she is now.

Ye olde karma will turn in your favor i do believe my good sir… and well played on all fronts there, it is funny how everyone always thinks someone else will help, it helps ease their guilty conscience… and congrats to the daughter, that’s a hell of an accomplishment though now it’s on to the really hard work (if you call doing something you love hard work of course which i surmise she doesn’t) but congrats to her again!!
