Can’t you sling a deboxed bag-in-a-box under the trolley? I was once hired for a G&S week in somewhere like Stockport, where the way back to the pit was via the stage. One night we got very drunk in the interval & staggered back across the stage at the beginning of part 2, only to discover that we should have taken a leak. Colleagues wouldn’t have us pissing in their water glasses or into the gap beneath the stage, so back we went.

Yes, if I needed the loo I think I would have scarpered as well. As for bladder control - eat salty crisps; Tena pads for men; or have an empty plastic bottle stashed somewhere - which is what the lorry drivers do.
