Ah that holiday sounds brilliant!! And we’re quite alike you and me… except i’m 6′4 and so i naturally have that angle of “woman’s frontages", lol! - not that i ever look mind you… (i might be lying.)
Oh you are awful, but I like you!
Have a great holiday!

Yes Miss S it was superb. A man wandered into my room at Gatwick. It wasn’t nice actually but more on that next time.
What are you doing swanning off to France when you’re meant to be on strike?
MM, I wouldn’t go from Llanfairfechlan to Pontysyllech on Wednesday if I were you.
A fortnight in Brittany, how lovely! Hope you had a splendid time. I’ve not read Lehmann, do you have a favourite?
It sounds like you’ve found your perfect job!x
I’d start with Dusty Answer. Then go on to The Weather in the Streets, which perhaps is a better novel (but what do I know about that?) because they lead on from one another. She draws me in. She’s got the knack of combining narrative movement – getting on with it – with a sensual, physical quality of self-reflection and a concentration on the moment whilst not *dwelling* on it, like Woolf can do sometimes (who is great at doing it of course, I’m not knocking Woolf, it’s just Lehmann is a bit more like the woman I’d like to have a sherry with). I really like her.
I appear to have spelt my own name wrong above!
You’re nae leering at me are ye Eeryl?
“Looby and the Lezzers”
