My last possible hope for funding, gone. A container load of debt: arriving soon at an address in Lancaster.

Oh, that’s a shame. If a sadly predictable one. We’re going to lose most of our potential students simply from nobody having any money available.

Thanks - TBH it would have been a miracle had I got it. The chances were vanishingly small and I’m well aware that I’m not “outstanding” in any way. Never mind, there’a always next year.

Sorry about the password system. It’s not ideal but the .htaccess was preventing the rss from being read. Perhaps it was on the whole easier though.

I know what you mean about the funding though. We’re being urged to increase PG figures and have higher targets to hit every year.

Hitting the targets in terms of suitable applicants is a piece of piss. But 4 out of 5 can’t just pay for it themselves. Quite how it’s our fault the applicants aren’t rich enough is a mystery only the beancounters can answer.
